The Cobb STEM and Innovation Department launched the FlyGirls program in 2018. FlyGirls was developed to introduce young women in grades four through eight to aerospace using drones. The sky is the limit for these young women who learn how to fly, code and operate their drones safely. Through generous funding from Lockheed Martin, Emerson Electric, FTW Robotics and fundraising by the STEM Cobb team this event is FREE.
