Application Process
  1. Local School Administrator contacts STEM/STEAM & Innovation Supervisor to review certification criteria, develop implementation plan, and discuss local school needs.
  2. School STEM/STEAM Team creates a STEM/STEAM Certification Portfolio using Office365 OneNote or other method (website, etc.). Collect artifacts that demonstrate evidence to support the various certification criteria.
  3. STEM/STEAM & Innovation Supervisor sets up STEM/STEAM Walks to provide feedback to school regarding best practices and opportunities to consider. Most schools host 2-3 STEM walks across 1-2 school years.​
  4. Local School Administrator contacts STEM/STEAM & Innovation Supervisor to set up a time for the Cobb STEM/STEAM Review Team to conduct a final school visit to consider certification status.
