NEW Hybrid Model for 2020-2021 School Year
We are combining the K-8 STEM, K-8 STEAM, and 9-12 STEM Innovation Academy into one combined Innovation Academy experience, called the STEM IA Remix. This academy will employ a hybrid model of professional development to support schools looking to cultivate STEM/STEAM practices in their buildings. To be responsive to the pressures of teachers and schools, we will only meet three times during the 2020-2021 school year.

The Mini-Conference (8:00-12:00) will be fully virtual with a variety of session formats (15 min, 30 min, 60 min). Care will be given during scheduling to offer choice options across all grade levels and disciplines.
The Team Collaboration time (1 hour) is flexible and can be done at any time during the afternoon. Local school team members are responsible for creating their own virtual meeting room (Microsoft Teams or Zoom) and recording meeting minutes. STEM/STEAM Leadership will be available for "virtual office hours" and can join the local school team meetings for personalized consultation.
