Getting Started with Fly Girls

Picture
We're thrilled that you'd like to get started with Fly Girls.  Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), Mini Flying Robots or Tiny Pilotless Aircraft - drones are being used in multiple sectors of our society.  Drones have been used largely for photography, but the future of drones is expanding to include everything from search and rescue, cargo transport, agricultural crop monitoring, storm tracking and so much more.

As with many STEM applications, women are underrepresented population when it comes to drones.  Fly Girls is working to change that one young woman at a time.  We want to put drones in the hands of young women so they can play, learn, fly and apply.   Through these experiences we hope to empower our Fly Girls to use their voices and unique points of view to impact the future of drones.
