Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program

Camp Overview | The Summer Immersion Program is a free 7- week program for 10th- 11th grade girls (rising juniors and seniors) to learn computer science, gain exposure to tech jobs, and join a supportive sisterhood of thousands of girls across the US!

Camp Overview | Invent the future today! Camp Invention’s all-new summer program, Fast Forward, allows children in grades K-
6 to turn their wildest dreams into a reality. Campers will create a vehicle of the future, design a mechanical
robot dog, build futuristic dream homes, and make dinos dance using wind-up gearboxes! Local educators
lead the week of fun, hands-on, STEM activities that encourage children to think big, explore their curiosity,

TEC Camp (Technology, Engineering & Computing)

Camp Overview | The Women in Engineering Program at the Georgia Institute of Technology is hosting a week-long, day camp for middle school girls. This fun and interactive camp is designed to give girls an early introduction to the exciting world of engineering with the hope of inspiring them to eventually consider college majors and careers in engineering.

Science Spectrum

Camp Overview | A STEAM Camp at Wheeler High School Designed for rising 7th, 8th and 9th grader students who have an interest in science and engineering. This five day camp will offer students the opportunity to explore an array of science and engineering fields including Robotics, Chemistry, Forensics, Electronics, Biotechnology, and Drafting. During the first two days of the camp students will attend small group application-based workshops in each of these areas. After this exposure to each area, students will then choose an area of focus in which they will spend two and a half days. During this phase the students will complete a take-away project related to their area of interest. During the afternoon of the final day the students will come back together to share their experiences and results. Check out the STEM Cobb Blog for more information.
