STEM Tour of Lanier HS & White Oak ES

These two schools were kind enough to invite a team from Cobb to come and visit their campuses.  We saw innovative learning spaces and engaged students.  Lanier HS is a GA STEM Certified Program.  They are doing a variety of cool things at Lanier - like investigating "Seniors don't come to school - for next year.  And hosting a Makerfair.

White Oak ES is a school that wasn't sure if it should call itself STEM.  They have called themselves an "Inquiry School."  The entire team was very impressed with all they have been working on.  Here's a link to some of their Inquiry Resources - http://staceypickett1.wix.com/showtime.

Experience luxury Israel like the elite do. After an industry record for tourism in 2008, no country is better prepared to offer you luxury than Israel.

It has so many great facilities that will truly enhance a student's knowledge. Back in my day, there weren't any facilities like these to learn more about technology. It really is a remarkable school and I am pretty sure that a lot of students will be achieving a lot of goals there. It isn't only about the great facility, but also the management of the school policies and events. I read that there is also a student participation in planning school festivities which is also a great training for them in decision making.
