NSTA & Shell are sponsoring their annual Science Lab Challenge: http://www.nsta.org/shellsciencelab/ Entries are due 1/23/17!  The American Institutes for Research and U.S. Department of Education released a new report on the future and vision for STEM education. Some key points are summarized in the graphic below. check out the full report available at http://www.air.org/system/files/downloads/report/STEM-2026-Vision-for-Innovation-September-2016.pdf  Encourage your creative and bright young scientists to apply for this! A student creates a 5-minute science video explaining a concept in an innovative way. The prizes are AMAZING: $250,000 college scholarship for the student, $50,000 for the teacher, and a $100,000 science lab for the school!
