On May 10, at Marietta High School from 6-8 pm in the cafeteria area, they are having their “Marietta City Schools Engineering Pipeline Research Symposium.” They would love for you to come, set up a table, and represent your organization. (If you teach with Cobb County, they’d love to have you come and support the event!)
Projects from Lockheed Elementary will include composting, vermicomposting, classroom aquaponics, and a sustainable, portable off-the-grid tiny house powered by solar energy built by multiple grade levels that ties into various science, math, and SS standards. Other elementary schools, Marietta Middle, and Marietta High will have exciting projects and research to present as well.
Additionally, a VR/AR/3D bus will provide in-house field trips so students can experience learning in an engaging way. Please let me know if you will be able to join us as a visitor or at a table representing your organization.
