STEM Goes Red 2018 Friday, May 4, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m
The American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women Atlanta team is hosting its inaugural STEM Goes Red event, aimed at empowering girls to improve the cardiovascular health of all Americans through a career in the sciences.
What is STEM Goes Red? A day-long event to inspire girls to explore STEM outside the classroom and embrace being heart healthy. Participants will be exposed to some of Atlanta’s leading science, technology and engineering companies like Georgia Power, Goldman Sachs, UPS and PricewaterhouseCoopers as they showcase their innovative work. This event will consist of speed mentoring, breakout sessions led by top STEM-related organizations, and opportunities to make lasting connections with companies and leaders.
Students will walk away knowing they can make an impact through a career in STEM!
